Missing home and the way it used to be;
This collaborative photo series moves through urban tribal connections, the contentment and wholeness felt as we put ourselves on display with the likeness of the land painted across our bodies. Cognizing the shared condition of grief for the places our ancestors call us back to when we see photos, tourism ads, and hear white peers talking about their hiking trips and vacations.
Even when were away from home our blood runs in the creeks and lies dried in the soil.
